Are Science Products The New 'Thing'?

Me doing my usual shopping rounds noticed a theme about new products popping up here and there - lots of stores are now selling science themed products which could be the new 'thing'. Below i have listed a few ideas and products on how to make your life + room more science themed. I am one of those following this science phase although science was my least favourite subject!

1. Typo 

If you love to get organized or just love stationary - this is defiantly for you. Typo have cleverly come up with a three test tube stationary bits + bobs organizer - the packaging is just too cute ! little things like this can brighten up or 'science up' your room.

2.  The Super Cool Store

This quirky little store opened up at doncaster around christmas time - it's quite good for a look! I spotted there these really cool chemistry candles! Wax / Candle filled Flasks + Beakers - great present idea !  They range from $39 to $79  You can get these adorable candles at the doncaster store ( located across from toys r us escalators)

 3. GET CREATIVE!

There's a store at Doncaster called Happy Lab where they sell lollies and confectionary. Some of the lollies are packaged in flasks and test tubes.  After munching on the lollies you can make cute pencil holders for your coloured pencils - you don't even have to use the colour pencils. Just pop into any stationary store like Smiggle or Typo and buy some nice looking coloured pencils- they must be bright looking ! Then get your flasks and put one pencil in each flask and line them up on your desk ! It makes your room ( especially if it's white) look really cool and 'lab' like :)

Australia's Going Disney !

Has anyone noticed that Australia is going absolutely crazy over 2 adorable mice and their friends - Thats right I'm talking Mickey ! I am one of those nutty people ( and bonus Walt Disney is born on the same day as me !) so today I thought I would share with you all the cool places that have started selling Disney + Mickey Mouse Products!

1. Typo - yes that's right disney stationary !
Typo over the holidays and should still now have mickey mouse products + all his fellow stars like Alice and Bambi! I have gotten all my exercise books + my pencil case from Typo and LOOVEEE IT! Every time I look at it, it reminds me of disneyland !

2. Mickey Mouse + Friends Pillow Pets
Obviously Big W Don't have a massive disney range - BUT they have Mickey Mouse + friends Pillow pets! I almost had a 'magic attack' when I saw them !( get the joke , although it's lame :) ) And of course me being disney nut decided to buy it ! I believe they're $24 or something like that - probs one of my favorite disney products !

3. Mickey Mouse Pj's

4. Mickey Mouse Clothing
Jay Jays also have started selling Mickey mouse clothing ! I cannot wait next time I'm at a shopping center as I really want to buy the Mickey mouse original sweater ! I've attached the link below :)

5. GET CREATIVE !
A few weeks ago I was really bored so decided to get a little creative with disney + Mickey ears. Off the internet I printed a few Mickey mouse templates bought some nice paper from Smiggle + Typo and just started cutting out these Mickey templates onto the nice paper and made some really cool mickey ear decorations. I then got some fishing line - and hung them up!

The easiest, quickest type of gifting besides money are gift cards. You can practically get them ANYWHERE these days - everyone is buying them these day and they've become too ordinary. So how do you make your gift card stand out ?

3. Colour Code Gift Cards + add ons
Colour coding can make all the difference ! When ever buying a gift card - always think colour wise! This will make it easier for you to add add-ons. For eg. Pink Gift Card + Pink pen + Pink Card. Little things for around the value of $2  will definitely enhance gift cards - yet keep it's value!
